Because being a bereaved mom is the hardest job of all.
I wish you all a tender, beautiful Mother's Day filled with love and support.

Oh, thank you so so much for this Joanne. It is beautiful and so true. I'd like to send it to others in the hopes it might help them understand!

I am always aware of the presence of his absence... That is a powerful way to consider this no time in life, while I make the most of every day, waiting to be with him again.

Thank you so much for this post, Joanne. Your words hit the spot today. I just wrote a post about how some days are just hard on Grief & Gratitude-your post ties in nicely with it.
Sending love.

Someone just shared this with me on my blog, and I cannot thank you enough for it.

The soul still sings in the darkness telling of the beauty she found there; and daring us not to think that because she passed through such tortures of anguish, doubt, dread, and horror, as has been said, she ran any the more danger of being lost in the night. Nay, in the darkness did she, rather, find herself.
